An extra monitor screen and some cable adapters are provided; please return the adaptors to the cable basket when you are done using them. This room can also be used as a ‘cry room’ for babies.
Fireplace
The indoor gas fireplace is operational. Never burn wood in this fireplace and never leave on when not present inside the house.
How to use (video):
Locate the T wrench and flexible lighter stored in the kitchen drawer.
Locate the gas valve on the left side of the fireplace (the wall facing the pool table)
Using the T Wrench, turn the gas valve slowly counter-clockwise (to the left) until you hear a faint hissing sound. The sound is gas flowing through the main fireplace pipe.
As quickly as you are safely able, use the lighter to light the fireplace at the furthest left part of the pipe that sits between the logs.
Once the fireplace is lit, you can increase or decrease the gas flow by turning the gas valve further to the left or right.
To turn the fireplace off, turn the gas valve all the way to the right until the flame is gone and you no longer hear the hiss of the gas.
If it takes you more than 5 seconds to light the gas, we recommend turning the gas valve all the way to the right to stop the flow of gas and wait a few minutes to let it dissipate before trying again.
If you have any questions or concerns, you can contact us for assistance!

Step 1: Place pineapple pieces in a resealable plastic bag, laying them flat. Freeze until solid, at least 3 hours. Or better yet - buy prefrozen pineapple!
Step 2: Shake cream of coconut and coconut milk in their cans before measuring. Purée pineapple, cream of coconut, coconut milk, white rum, lime juice, and 3 cups ice (about 15 oz.) in a blender until smooth. Transfer blender cup to freezer and freeze until mixture is thickened (it should be the consistency of a milkshake), 25–35 minutes.
Step 3: Blend again until mixture is the perfect slushy frozen drink consistency. Divide among glasses. Top off each with ½ oz. dark rum, if using, and garnish each with a cherry and lime wedge.
How to Make a Piña Colada
Ingredients:
½ fresh pineapple, peeled, cut into 1½" pieces
(or prepackaged frozen equivalent)
6 oz. sweetened cream of coconut
2 oz. unsweetened coconut milk
8 oz. white rum
2 Tbsp. fresh lime juice
2 oz. dark rum (optional)
Maraschino cherries and lime wedges (for serving)
Games
Please do not put any drinks on any of the foosball or pool table surfaces, including the wooden edges. This can damage the tables and felt, and invites spills and stains that may be impossible to remove.
Board games and cards can be found in both credenzas and the coffee table by the foosball table. If you find that any games have missing pieces, please let us know.
Pool & Spa
Spa heat is included in the price of your booking. Pool can be heated for a flat-fee of $100 per day with a 2 day minimum. Note that the pool can take approximately 5-10 hours to heat and if the spa heater is in use, the pool heater will not be activated.
Pool and spa temperature and jets can be controlled through the provided tablet. The tablet is located in the bookshelf by the dining table with a waterproof sleeve. Charge as needed. To control pool and spa settings, open the iAqualink App. If you have trouble navigating the app, contact the host - we can control it remotely for you!
How to Use the iAqualink App:
Pool towels are located in the hallway closet. Pool toys, floats, and electric pump are available in the storage container by the pool.
Pool services are typically every Tuesday and Friday. The property is accessed by the pool cleaner without advanced notice to the guests, so don’t be surprised if you see someone servicing the pool.
Too relaxed to go back inside to grab another drink? We get it! There is a cooler on wheels available in the garage that’s yours to use.
Please do not use glassware in the pool area. We have provided hard plastic cups for pool-side use in the same cabinet as the glassware. Tiki Mugs are A-OK for pool-side use, because where else would you use them?
Backyard
Help yourself to as many Meyer lemons as you’d like!
To use our fire-pit (video):
Locate the propane tank underneath the black stone side table next to the couch
Turn the valve counter-clockwise (left) to turn on the gas from the tank to the fire pit
Press down on the lighter switch on the fire pit and turn the gas knob counter-clockwise to ignite the pit.
Adjust the intensity of the flame by turning the gas knob on the fire pit
If it will not light, it may be that the gas tank is empty. There is an extra gas tank in the garage for moments like this. IF for some reason there is not, or that tank is also empty, you can use the tank from the grill and notify the hosts so we can get more propane to you.
Using the grill (video):
Open the grill lid
Check that all burner control knobs are in the off position. Check by pushing in and turning knobs clockwise (right).
Turn the gas supply valve on by turning the top of the gas tank counter-clockwise.
Begin with burner #1 furthest to the left. Push the burner control knob in and turn it counterclockwise to the start/high position. IMPORTANT: Always ignite burner #1 first. The other burner(s) ignite from burner #1.
Push and hold the electronic ignition button. You will hear it ticking.
Check that burner #1 is lit by looking through the cooking grates.
When burner #1 ignites, you can turn on burner #2 (and burner #3).
If the burner does not ignite, turn burner control knob to the off position and wait five minutes to allow the gas to clear before attempting to light the burner again.

Pet amenities are located in the Master hallway cabinets.
Please notify the hosts if your pet has an indoor accident that needs extra cleaning attention (no extra fee will be applied). A mixture of baking soda, white vinegar, and dish soap does wonders if you need to treat a bad accident immediately.
